Mr. Sleeman earned his bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Spring Arbor University and his master’s in Educational Leadership from Grand Valley State University. He taught 6th grade in Wayland for nine years and 3rd grade at TK for eight years before moving into administration to serve more students and families in the community.

 

He and his wife, Nicole, a second-grade teacher at Lee, are the proud parents of four daughters: Rosie, Ivy, Lily, and Zinnia who all attend or will attend TK schools.

 

Outside of school, he enjoys biking, hiking, tackling projects at home, reading, and watching sports; especially Tottenham, the Lions, and Michigan football.
