Hello! I am thrilled to introduce myself as a dedicated educator with a passion for nurturing young minds and bodies. For 18 years I served as a first grade classroom teacher at McFall Elementary School, where I had the privilege of guiding countless children as they began their educational journey. From fostering a love of reading to sparking curiosity in math and science, those years were filled with joyful discoveries, creative lessons and the rewarding experiences of watching students grow in confidence and knowledge. My goal was to inspire and spark a genuine love of learning for each and every one of my students.
In 2020, I transitioned to a new and exciting role as a physical education teacher for Young fives, kindergarten, and first-grade students. This shift allowed me to blend my expertise in early childhood development with the importance of movement, health, and play. Today I focus on building foundational motor skills, promoting teamwork, and building the foundations for lifelong habits of physical wellness-all while keeping it fun and fundamental.
In 1998 graduated with my Bachelor of Science degree from Spring Arbor College. I chose to further my career and completed my Master's Degree in Child Development from the American College of Education in 2020.
